February Fellowship

February 10, 2016

10:15am – 12:15pm

Our February fellowship will focus around a dialogue as to how our local TGC chapter can collaboratively bless our city and region. This will be somewhat open-ended, but here are some topics that we'll explore:

  • Are there ways in which our TGC chapter can equip and encourage our church families toward growth in godliness? Though the sphere of disciplemaking is to primarily be within the local church, would some form of collaborative effort uniquely benefit our people?
  • How might our TGC chapter help in training and mobilizing our churches for mission? Tens of thousands of people all around us have never heard the Gospel accurately presented. Could targeted, strategic joint-efforts be of benefit in obeying the Great Commission?
  • How might the question stated immediately above extend into domestic or international missions?
  • Related to collaborative missional outreach, what are some targeted mercy ministries that our churches could engage in together in an effort to love those in need around us?
  • How could our resources of experience, gifting, and money be leveraged toward better encouraging/equipping pastors here and in our region?
  • Related to the question stated directly above, how might we encourage church planting and revitalization throughout Ohio - large metropolitan areas and smaller cities/towns alike?

One of the questions we have been asking is, "What can we do better together rather than individually?" While each of our churches has its own God-given sphere of ministry, there is benefit in discerning how cooperative ministry might further the Kingdom in unique ways. We will guard some time toward the end of our fellowship for prayer, without which any dreams or plans are in vain.
